Welcome to ShopRite of Bruckner Blvd
- 1994 Bruckner Blvd, Bronx, NY 10473 Hotline: (718) 794-1690
Welcome to **ShopRite of Bruckner Blvd**, a vibrant addition to the Bronx community since its opening. Located at **1994 Bruckner Blvd**, this supermarket breathes new life into the Bruckner Commons plaza, which previously hosted a variety of grocery stores, most notably Key Food. Customers have welcomed the transformation with open arms, appreciating both the variety and quality of offerings available.
Upon entering, you are greeted by a fresh produce department that may not be sprawling but certainly packs a punch. The selection of fresh vegetables is particularly commendable, with many locals claiming it has the **best vegetables in the area**. One shopper, DeeDee M., highlights the extensive range of **organic options** available, making ShopRite the go-to spot for health-conscious consumers.
The store layout is both practical and spacious, allowing for easy navigation. With wide aisles, you can easily maneuver multiple shopping carts without hassle, a significant benefit in today’s busy shopping environment. Also, the store features a sushi station where skilled artisans expertly roll fresh sushi, adding a fun and delightful twist to your grocery shopping experience.
Returning to dear Bruckner Blvd has not only given the community a reliable grocery store but also a space where family meals can begin. While the checkout area may sometimes get lively, with the manager ensuring everything runs smoothly, the positivity of the ambiance far outweighs this little hiccup.
In summary, **ShopRite of Bruckner Blvd** stands out not just as a supermarket but as a community hub. It cherishes the local love for fresh, organic produce while providing ample shopping space and a unique array of services. Whether you're wandering down the produce aisle or excitedly waiting for freshly rolled sushi, this ShopRite promises a fulfilling shopping experience tailored to the tastes and needs of Bronx residents.

As long as I lived in Soundview, this plaza has seen several supermarkets. The longest show runner was Key Food. But after they shut down, it was a good while when the remodeling process began at Bruckner Commons and almost simultaneously, ShopRite came to the scene. As with all ShopRites, produce department greets you. It isn't big- but you get a good gist of fresh veggies here. There's also a sushi station where the pros are in action and rolling. Aisles here are wide and in this day and age where space is key, 2 shopping carts can comfortably bypass each other without bumping into one another. Check-out at times is loud when the 'manager' is making sure folks don't dilly dally. Overall, layout is fine.

I've been coming to this supermarket since they've opened up and I have found that the vegetables are the best in the area. Actually, they really the only supermarket in this general area that offers a wide variety of organic vegetables, which I eat. I can go to another supermarket for anything else but when it comes to my vegetables, I must come to ShopRite to get my organics. Also, it's always easy to shop when you don't have to worry about parking issues. It was a very good idea to place this supermarket in this lot after Key Food close down.
